Deborah graduated cum laude from Nova Southeastern University in 1999, following a B.A. from the University of South Florida in 1994.
Deborah’s experience includes complex commercial litigation in state and federal court. Deborah has represented clients in various litigation matters including trademark litigation disputes, trade secret disputes, contract disputes, probate litigation, and residential real estate disputes. Deborah has also had success in representing clients before the World Intellectual Property Organization and other tribunals involving domain name disputes.
In her transactional practice, Deborah guides clients in intellectual property matters including trademark prosecution, clearance, and enforcement. Deborah also has assisted clients in drafting and negotiating license, assignment, work for hire, nondisclosure, independent contractor, asset sale and purchase, and distribution agreements. Deborah similarly guides clients on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations involving advertising on social media and domain name protection. Deborah also has assisted clients in development of corporations including drafting operating agreements and compliance with Florida law on various corporate resolutions and compliance matters.
