Rafael Mas has a background focused on state and federal civil litigation representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of legal practice fields including: first-party property, landlord-tenant, general and premises liability, construction defect, uninsured and underinsured motorist, health, and immigration, among others.
Prior to becoming a member of the Florida Bar, and as part of his professional development, Rafael served as: a Fellow for the University of Miami School of Law Health Rights Clinic; a Clerk with Falk, Waas, Hernandez, Cortina, Solomon, & Bonner P.A.; a Clerk for the legal department at Memorial Healthcare System; and a Clerk for the Honorable Barbara Areces.
After becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Rafael gained litigation experience as an Associate Attorney at: Alvarez, Feltman, Da Silva, and Costa; Wicker, Smith, O’Hara, and McCoy; and Gaebe, Mullen, Antonelli & DiMatteo, and the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid.
